Reach Out!

Dundee Pride is proud to announce a new befriending service, Reach Out.  Reach Out is a support service (NOT professional advice), as well as a platform for the community to form and support each other.  Anyone in need of conversation and a friendly listener can call our phone line and connect with a volunteer.  We are currently looking to recruit volunteers to help us with this vital support service. 

Who We Are Looking For?

Firstly, chat, you must love to chat to anyone!!!  You don’t need to have an interest in specific subjects, you just need to be able to help listen to LGBTQ+ individuals and break up their day/week with some good old fashioned chat.  We are looking for individuals with great listening skills, who can draw out those who feel isolated and alone.  This isn’t a counselling service so training is minimal and we are looking for people to get started ASAP.  So if you love to chat and listen we would love to hear from you so please Reach Out to us and fill in the form below.
